The most sacred temple is the Nature of Self

Creating art in nature is a deep, living connection with the world around- and within us. The elements of nature — earth, water, fire, air, space and light are both internal and external forces and energies that move through us, shaping our bodies and spirits. By attuning to these raw forces and aligning myself with the present environment, I allow the creative energy of that place and time to flow through me, emerging as an expression of both the landscape’s dynamism and my embodied presence. The process unfolds as a harmony between myself and the natural world, a reflection of the interconnectedness of all things.

Upon submerging into this flow I enter into a dynamic dialogue with nature, letting its forces guide and shape the creative act in togetherness. Each expression emerges as a collaboration with the soul of the landscape in exactly that moment, capturing its essence and energy in spontaneous and new shapes and forms. Through this mode of being, I seek to bridge the inner and outer worlds, presenting art that resonates with elemental energies that move through both the artist, earth, and space, inviting others to experience the profound connection between self and nature.

Instinctive Creation

The Way of the Wanderer

The deliberate act of wandering is my point of departure to land in creativity. A way of going beyond the thinking mind, opening up to a deeper sense of wonder and a more embodied experience of the world I encounter. This involves a high degree of trust to ‘stumble upon’ places and become involved in serendipitous encounters. It is a starting point that I simultaneously love and am terrified of, a chance encounter with the vast, unknown world in it’s most majestic and unexpected form.

It humbles me to learn, time and time again, that all I can do is take that very first step, embracing with swift decisiveness the trust in my natural, instinctive knowing of which way to go, gently approaching the parts of the world leaning back into me.

Essence of the { Elements}

A conversation between the body and the elements

The elements are a way to be in touch with the bare essence of life. In my works I realize unity through sensitivity, using the senses as a portal to the inner- and outer landscapes. Being so close to- and immersing myself with the elements of blazing fire, gushing water, kissing wind, holding earth and gracing space is vital in my own process of embodying universal and individual love.

The elements are also an intricately woven field of energetic movements made by unseen particles that make up the world that we navigate. Immersing myself in- and moving in unity with these elements makes me part of the elemental dance. And so each work is a process of attending to whatever its is that unfolds in presence, as a present.
