place of surface, surface of placing.
A discovery I did recently is that the altar plays an important role in my work. A surface to place something upon. And also a gathering of giving and receiving, an actual place of interconnectedness, where the material and spiritual word relate to one another. A passageway for honoring the invisible in a visible manner.

The surge of the unseen forces that sweep, surge around, and soothe the earth are perhaps most vivid and alive in the mountainous regions of our planet. The winds delicate touch doesn’t forget to touch us into connectedness. It is this carrying wind that inspires our movements, in both stillness and ravenous sounds.
